Entitled “Youth in Algeria: Actors, policies and impact of international cooperation”, this policy paper was written and coordinated by Mustapha Omrane from the Centre de Recherche en Economie Appliquée pour le Développement (CREAD).
During recent years, the political events within the course of the “Arab Spring” have profoundly upset the MENA region at the political, socioeconomic and even cultural levels. One of the main consequences of this historic period is the emergence of youth as a force for change. This policy paper tries to shed light on the measures taken by governments in Algeria to deal with youth and its challenges.
