Euro-Mediterranean Study Commission (EuroMeSCo)
The Center of Strategic Studies (CSS) with the support of European Institute of the Mediterranean (IEMed) within the framework of the Euro- Study Commission (EuroMeSCo) organised a Dialogue Workshop called “Migrants and Refugees: Impact and Future Policies. Case studies of Jordan, Turkey, Lebanon and Greece”.
The objectives of this Dialogue Workshop were to present and discuss the initial research findings of the Working Package Joint Policy Study “Migrants and Refugees: Impact and Future Policies”, led by Center for Strategic Studies and to confront them with external stakeholders, in order to contribute to more inclusive policy-making processes
The main discussions were built on the following contents:
• Patterns of Migration Flows
• Economic and Social Integration of Migrants and Refugees (focused on Jordan and Lebanon)
• Economic and Social Integration of Migrants and Refugees (focused on Turkey)
• European Migration and Asylum Policies (focused on Greece)
The event took place on the 17th December 2015 in Amman (Jordan) and it was a very interesting meeting, where experts from different countries had the chance to exchange different approaches on topics debated. At the end of the working day several conclusions and recommendations were presented.
